Article 1 (Operation of the Service)
“Scentdays” is a service that digitizes and distributes scents (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”), provided by Horizon Inc.

Article 2 (Issuance of Smell Token)
Smell Token is a token used within the Service as a means of payment and as one of the participation rights in the business. The issuer of the token is ATIT TECH IT SOLUTIONS (Dubai entity). Horizon Inc. is not the issuer of Smell Token.

Article 3 (Payment Methods within the Service)
The Service offers several payment methods, primarily credit card payments. Cryptocurrency payments are also available as one of the payment options. However, the availability and conditions of cryptocurrency payments may change depending on local regulations and the policies of Horizon Inc.

Article 4 (Use of Smell Token for Marketing Purposes)
Smell Token is utilized within the Service as one of the marketing tools to promote user engagement and enhance the overall user experience.

Article 5 (Distribution of Tokens as Rewards)
The Service may provide Smell Token or other cryptocurrencies as rewards based on user activity. The value of Smell Token and other cryptocurrencies fluctuates according to market conditions, and the tokens received as rewards may decrease in value or become worthless in the future. Reward distribution is not guaranteed and may be changed or terminated at the discretion of Horizon Inc.

Article 6 (Nature of Cryptocurrencies)
Cryptocurrencies, including Smell Token, carry price fluctuation risks. Their value is not guaranteed, and losses may occur during transactions. Profit is not guaranteed.

Article 7 (Use on External Platforms)
When exchanging or trading Smell Token or other cryptocurrencies on external platforms (such as cryptocurrency exchanges), users must carefully review the terms of each platform and comply with applicable regulations in Japan. All actions must be taken based on the user’s own judgment and responsibility. Horizon Inc. does not recommend or endorse the use of any specific exchanges and assumes no responsibility for any issues arising from exchange or trading activities on external platforms.

Article 8 (Legal Risks)
In Japan, certain overseas cryptocurrency exchanges are restricted under the policies of the Financial Services Agency (FSA). As a result, Japanese users may be unable to access certain exchanges or apps may be removed. Future regulatory changes may further affect the use and trading of cryptocurrencies. Horizon Inc. assumes no liability for losses or disadvantages resulting from regulatory changes.

Article 9 (Changes or Suspension of the Service)
The Service may be modified or terminated without prior notice at the discretion of the operator. As a result, the value or usability of cryptocurrencies held by users may fluctuate. System failures or maintenance may temporarily or permanently restrict the acquisition or use of cryptocurrencies.

Article 10 (User Responsibility)
All decisions related to the acquisition, holding, and trading of cryptocurrencies within the Service are made at the user’s own responsibility. Horizon Inc. assumes no responsibility for any losses or damages arising from such actions.

 

Article 11 (Tax Responsibilities)
All tax obligations related to the use of the Service and the acquisition or trading of cryptocurrencies (including income tax, corporate tax, consumption tax, and other applicable taxes) must be confirmed and handled appropriately by the user in accordance with relevant tax laws. Horizon Inc. does not provide tax advice or support for tax filings and assumes no responsibility for any tax-related issues.

Article 12 (Disclaimer Regarding Information Provided)
Any information related to cryptocurrencies provided within the Service is intended for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a recommendation or solicitation for specific transactions or investments. Users must conduct their own research and make decisions independently.
