Today, former Digital Minister Dr. Karen Makishima, Dr. Akihisa Shiozaki, Dr. Junichi Kanda, Dr. Hideto Kawasaki, and Dr. Hajime Sasaki from the web3 project team of the LDP's Digital Society Promotion Headquarters visited the event to experience the digitalized fragrance and smart fragrance held at the House of Representatives Building. The event was attended by Dr. Karen Makishima, former Minister of Digital Society.
At this hands-on event, Mr. Tsai, our representative, explained our business on digitalization of fragrances and talked about the technology we are developing for digital transmission of fragrances and our fragrance printers. He also explained in detail about our scent copyright management system that utilizes web3 technology.
We also talked about the "Japanese contents 3.0" concept, which upgrades Japan's rich content, such as anime and traditional crafts, from a two-dimensional world to a three-dimensional one by adding fragrance to them. Through this, we were able to propose new possibilities for Japanese digital content that could not be realized with the old methods.
Through this hands-on experience, we were able to gain an understanding of Smart Fragrance among the legislators' professors. The participants commented on the need for the government to develop the issue of copyright management and the prospect of receiving backup for future business development.
He also informed us that as a next step, arrangements are being made for a venue where presentations can be made at the subcommittee meetings. We will continue to make every effort to promote fragrance digitization technology and activities to expand the potential of digital content in Japan.
